Have you ever wondered who used to spend their days stood outside Mark Owen and Howard Donald’s houses waiting for a glimpse of their heroes? Well it turns out that we work amongst one – our Grace spent much of her youth and some of her not so youth hoping for a glimpse of cuddly little Mark. ‘We stood outside his house waiting for him to come and speak to us – he’s lovely’ stated Grace, lost in the memory. – Well, things took a turn for the more bizarre when BLANK chipped in that his partner was arrested for rifleing through cuddly Mark’s bins. The people you work with !

Imagine my surprise when I woke on saturday morning [after no greater Friday night excess than homemade potato, mushroom and Chorizo soup and 3 cans of Guinness] to find that i’d been transported back in time 65 years – no way I hear you say. Indeed it’s true!
All that’s left to do now is to work out if it was a dream, a kink in the space time continuum or were those mushrooms just a little bit more magic that they looked? – Anonymous.

PR Manager Grace has recently taken part in a midnight wander, in aid of Willow Wood Hospice. She did the walk in memory of a family friend, Doreen, who passed away at the hospice two years before. It was a great night, which saw 1600 pink ladies taking to the streets to raise much needed cash for this worthwhile cause.

Every office has a joker – and Craig’s ours. So when he needed something to stand on to take an arty photo this morning, no one was surprised when he opted for a set of desk drawers, rather than a chair like everyone else.
Unfortunatley, in his rush to give David Bailey a run for his money he had a minor disaster. It was only afterwards that he admitted that it was actually Martin’s drawers that he had. . errm . . dropped.

Every year we have a Strat Planning session, where we spend a day assessing the business and planning for the next year. It’s a crucial part of our business plan and vital that everyone in the team is involved.
All in all a really grown up, professional planning session. Then Craig turned up and horsed around in full view of Blackburn Rovers FC, who were having a quiet pre-match lunch in the next room. They drew that game. Funny that.
