David has spent his creative career in some of the county’s largest and most respected advertising agencies.
Graduating from Art Director at several Manchester agencies, David joined BDH/TBWA as Creative Group Head – later to become Associate Director.
During this period, David spent much of his time in London and Europe on TV campaigns for leading consumer brands such as Ariel, Indesit, Websters Yorkshire Bitter, Henkel and Brother.
From there, he became Director and Creative Director at Broughton-Jacques for 5 years before undertaking a management buyout with his fellow directors.
This subsequently led to the merger with one of Manchester’s largest established business-to-business agencies, CAS, to create Cicero Marketing Communications.
Cicero grew to become one of the country’s leading B2B agencies with major national and international brands and David was a main board director and shareholder of the business.
In 2007, Cicero was sold to international B2B giant, Gyro International and David then went on to work as a creative consultant, and non-executive Director of Clock Creative, helping them to grow and reposition themselves in the market before taking on the key role of Creative Director in January 2010.
David is now Brand Development Manager, helping clients to define their brand positioning and developing brand communications strategies.
