PetSafe : Social Media Campaign

Although PetSafe have a strong trade presence, the brand had, historically, very little resonance with the consumer. It was therefore vital to promote awareness of the brand to a consumer audience.

The company vision is to become a $1B turnover business by 2015 by positioning PetSafe as the most trusted brand in the pet ownership experience.

In order to raise their consumer profile, we devised a Social Marketing strategy which is already establishing the brand on Facebook and twitter featuring the adventures and social interaction of two animal characters – Archie, the loveable puppy and Annabel, the aloof cat.

The Social Media strategy however is not all about Archie and Annabel. The corporate Facebook page and twitter feed also provides valuable insights, hints and tips into pet ownership and we have built a strong following through these channels.

Results

  • Knowing how to measure the success of social engagement online is not as simple as publishing Follower and friend counts.
  • We understand that 2 key influencers can be far more valuable than 1000 followers. Its all about quality.
