New Faces at Clock

VicKateCraigAgency’s growth demonstrated as workforce doubles in 12 months
Award winning Bury creative agency Clock Creative Communications has demonstrated impressive growth over the twelve months with the appointment of three new members of staff.

The appointments take the number of staff to twelve, doubling the figure this time last year and come as the result of several new account wins and an increase in client demand for Clock’s fully integrated service.

Craig Challinor, 30, joins Clock as senior designer with eight years experience in the creative industry. His career began at Marlin Design in Manchester as a graduate where he quickly progressed through the ranks to Senior Designer. He has since worked for some of the North West leading Creative agencies on accounts including Henkel, JD Williams, Swizzels Matlow, Argos and Sainsbury’s.

Kate, 26, joins the creative team after moving to Manchester from Cornwall. She spent two years at a Cornish agency where she worked on accounts including ethical clothing brand Seasalt as lead designer, and University College Falmouth.

Both Craig and Kate joined Clock as they wanted the opportunity to work more closely with clients.

Craig said: “I came to Clock as I wanted to get back to a truly creative agency. Clock has a hardworking, hard thinking approach that really suits me, along with the opportunity to get right inside the head of the client to deliver beautiful, effective work”

Vickie Ramsden 32, has been appointed as Studio Manager, to oversee the day to day running of the studio. She has over ten years experience managing studios in both agency and client side environments. Her past clients include KPMG, The Royal Armories, Odeon Cinemas and Morrisons.

The new appointments come after Clock has gone from strength to strength over the past year. In April 2006 the agency was selected as one of only 8 in the UK to take part in a fast growth mentoring programme run by the DBA (Design Business Association). Clock was selected as its potential for growth was recognised, along with its ambitious business plans and vision.

October 2006 saw the launch of Clock PR, the agency’s public relations division, established due to client demand for a fully integrated agency.

The start of 2007 saw the appointment of a new Managing Director, Mark Taylor who joined Clock in a commercial capacity to build and drive the business forward. Mark’s role came as owner and founder of Clock, Ann Rimmer, changed her role to Group Account Director, a new position which allows her to spend more time working closely on client’s accounts.
