Balloons For Bury Hospice

Clock Creative release balloons to mark support of local charity.
releaseClock Creative Communications has marked the launch of its support of a local charity with a balloon race – with a difference.

The Ramsbottom based agency recently announced that is had selected Bury Hospice as its official company charity for 2007/8.

On Friday, Clock marked the official start of their support of the charity with a balloon race in Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom. The team from Clock released 312 yellow balloons, each one representing a member of staff or volunteer from Bury Hospice.

Unlike a traditional balloon race where the people who find the balloons win a prize, Clock have decided to donate prizes to the people who work for the hospice instead.
the boysBalloonsEach member of staff or volunteer was allocated a number that coincides with a unique number printed on each reply card. Should their card have travelled the furthest, Clock will donate a gift of gratitude to that team member, as a special thank you for their tireless work.

Clock Creative Communications is a full service creative communications consultancy offering design, PR, new media and creative strategy.

Over the next year Clock will offer support to the hospice by donating a day’s work per month – free of charge.

Clock will use this time to draw on it’s marketing expertise to raise Bury Hospice’s profile and to draw in much needed revenue. One particular area on which Clock will focus will be to encourage other businesses in the area to think local when they choose a charity to support.

Clock’s first project for the hospice was to redesign its newsletter, a vital tool in communicating to supporters and people in the area the work that the charity does and how funds raised are spent.
