Clock are delighted to be Shortlisted in the Chip Shop Awards which are being held in Edinburgh this week.
The Chip Shop Awards were started fifteen years ago to offer an alternative to the more traditional design industry awards.
They offer entrants the opportunity to stretch their creativity without the restriction of budgets, political correctness or the client even existing. The sky is the limit - entrants can even invent their own award category.
This year’s awards include ‘Best Work for Global Brand You Haven’t a Hope of Winning’, ‘Best Work for a Client You Have but Haven’t a Hope of Running’, ‘Best Use of Bad Taste’ and ‘Reject of the Year’.
Clock have been Shortlisted for the ‘invent your own category’ award, with ‘Best Toilet Door Sign for a Client’s James Bond Themed Corporate Event’
The entry came after Clock were invited to produce some work for one of our clients, RentSmart, for a James Bond themed party. Clock saw the opportunity to turn the iconic 007 logo on its head and created a themed sign for the gents toilets.
The Chip Shop awards are part of the Edinburgh festival Fringe programme and all nominated work is exhibited on public view.
